The Baltimore-Washington Conference of The United Methodist Church employs more than 60 people on its staff – all working to call, equip, send and support spiritual leaders who are transforming the world.

Based in a new, state-of-the-art Mission Center in Fulton, Maryland, the staff supports the work of 665 churches in Maryland, Washington, D.C., the panhandle of West Virginia and Bermuda in a variety of ways – from finance and administration to communications and equipping leadership.

Opportunities within the Baltimore-Washington Mission Center

We are seeking Christ-like volunteers to join the ministry of the Baltimore-Washington Conference and help in our work as the Mission Center’s Hospitality Desk Attendant. The Hospitality Desk attendant is the first person  that a caller or a guest to the BWC Mission Center will interact with and is our opportunity to extend God’s Welcome to all who enter here. The attendant will be responsible for answering phones, greeting and directing guests, and receiving packages and mail. We are searching for individuals that may be willing to help out one or two days per week, or are willing to schedule their time in advance. This is a non-paid position.
