CCYM will focus on joyful Christian discipleship; developing programs and events that promote Christian fellowship, growth, and unity; encourage and empower youth leaders; and be both a forum and advocate for the youth of the Baltimore-Washington Conference. Duke Youth Academy, part of Leadership Education at Duke Divinity, is an intensive encounter with Christian life. Days are patterned by worship through word and sacrament, reflection on scripture, study, service, play; practices ancient and modern that nourish the life of faith. The Silver Ring Thing promotes the message of abstinence until marriage centered in a relationship with Jesus Christ through two methods: a Live Event and a small group Silver Ring Thing resource called Project 434. Since 1995, SRT has hosted over 700 events in 8 countries, reaching over 417,000 total attendees. We welcome the opportunity to bring this program to your community and partner with you to impact students and parents with the truth of God's plan for purity.
